High‑Performance Bioplastics, Lower‑Carbon.

New Technology, Ethical Solution.
PM Biomaterials began in 2015 as a university-lab experiment by Büşra Köksal with a simple goal: turn low-value industrial starch waste into a high-value, drop-in feedstock for existing plastic production lines. In those early years, we focused on building an operational model and forging the critical partnerships—raw-material suppliers, pilot-plant operators, and formulation experts—that would bring our sustainability
vision to life. Between 2017 and 2021, we refined our processes, completed pilot-scale runs, and secured the financing and strategic alliances needed to move from lab bench to factory floor.
In 2024, we inaugurated our full-scale Plastic MoveTM facility—PM Biomaterials’ first commercial plant dedicated entirely to biopolymer production. Every batch we produce is independently certified by TÜV Biobased, ISCC PLUS, and EU REDcert2, guaranteeing renewable content, traceable sourcing, and consistent performance. Today, Plastic Move resins are used by customers in 17 industries—from automotive and white goods to cosmetics and food packaging—allowing them to reduce their carbon footprints without sacrificing strength, appearance, or cycle time. Because our materials integrate seamlessly into standard injection-molding, extrusion, and thermoforming lines, customers avoid the cost and complexity of retrofitting their equipment.
But PM Biomaterials isn’t just a resin supplier; we’re building an ecosystem for lasting change. We partner with research institutions on R&D initiatives, collaborate with regulators and industry associations to shape sustainable-plastics policy, and work alongside global corporations to co-develop application-specific solutions. These relationships accelerate innovation, help scale new formulations into real-world use, and drive the adoption of bio-based materials industry-wide.
Looking ahead, our mission is to expand Plastic Move beyond starch to new feedstocks and to enter additional markets—from electronics and construction to textiles and beyond. In both emerging and mature economies, we aim to replace fossil-based polymers with renewable alternatives that deliver equivalent or superior performance. With the support of our investors, partners, and customers, PM Biomaterials will continue to redefine sustainability standards across the plastic value chain—translating the promise of “better plastics, lower carbon” into measurable impact around the globe.
Technology
- Non‑Edible Food & Agricultural Starch Waste Streams
- Closed-loop, 5-year supply contracts with waste generators
- < 90 °C, atmospheric pressure
- 42 % less energy than fossil alternatives
- Granules blendable with PP, PE, ABS, PS
- Runs on existing injection, extrusion, and thermoforming lines—no mould change required
- Each lot shipped with Tg, HDT, MFI, CO₂ & bio-content reports

Companies that invest in biomaterials early can capitalize on this rapid expansion for long-term gains.
Sustainability Commitment
Recyclable Feedstock
Fully compatible with existing PP/PE recycling streams; simple integration into closed-loop systems.
Transparent LCA
Independently verified life-cycle assessments (ISO 14040/44) are publicly available.
Verifiable Data
Every shipment carries QR-linked lot certificates for CO₂ and bio-content (ISCC PLUS).
Industrial Upcycling
We transform unused starch-based factory residues into value-added polymers, cutting disposal costs and waste.
Plastic Move Movement: The True Green Value Manifesto
How Do We Define a Brand’s Environmental Credentials?
Certification First: No brand may use an “eco-friendly” label without hard proof such as TÜV Biobased, ISCC PLUS, or HACCP certificates.
Zero Tolerance for Greenwashing
Clear Language: We avoid vague phrases like “earth-friendly” on their own; we always pair them with numbers and standards.
Our Commitment to Traceability & Transparency
ISCC Plus Mass Balance: Raw-material flows are digitally locked; immutable records form the bedrock of trust.
The Plastic Move Movement
The Courage of First Steps: From automotive to cosmetics, packaging to logistics, these brands are the “first-wave” leaders swapping fossil plastics for biopolymers.
Shared Purpose: Not empty buzzwords, but truly low-carbon products.
Triple Win: Planet, consumer, and brand value all benefit simultaneously.
First-Mover Thrill: Every new member earns a rare “first-adopter” badge in the bioplastics revolution.
Social Inspiration: One cap, bottle, or trim piece can spark a domino effect across entire industries.
